Xbox Canada – LIVE Community Events
Xbox Canada tasked me with organizing and executing a series of community playdates for various games over Xbox Live. Teams were made of engaged community members who would work with myself and each other to host lobbies for other members to join up online. The goal was to get more players interacting with the most active members of the community, and having a good time playing on Xbox Live. Each night was a success with full parties and inboxes, lots of players were interested in joining the fun.
Digital Extremes – Homefront Launch Party
To celebrate the launch of Homefront with partners Kaos Studios and THQ, London-based Digital Extremes wanted to organize an event for local press, retailers and developers to draw them into the game’s fiction and show them the unique title. Transforming the venue space into a Korean military zone and featuring Korean-inspired drinks and cuisine, we were able to create an atmosphere that mirrored the intense alternate reality the game presented. The centerpiece for the event was a demo station featuring multiple high-end gaming PCs running Homefront on a series of monitors, including one 3D setup. Guests were able to experience the game first-hand against each other and the online world in the multiplayer mode the studio had developed.
